I didn't see the point of being stuck on a boat and possibly being sea sick most of the time.

I decided to put all that behind my and go on a Disney Cruise. 2 ships sail from Port Canaveral in Florida; The "Magic" and the "Wonder".

From the moment I stepped on the ship I knew I was in for an amazing experience. Disney are the masters of making every guest feel welcome and being announced to fellow passengers when walking onto the ship, made me feel like royalty!

The cabins were lovely, not that I spent much time in them. There was so much to do. Before we even set sail there was a set sail party. All the charaters were out in their sailing outfits. Even as an adult, I got caught up in the excitement and became a child again. It was great.

There was so much to do on the ship. Therr were swimming pools, hot tubs, basketball court, cinema, theatre, shops, restaurants and much, much more.

You could eat continuously all day if you wanted. There was breakfast, then you could snack on burgers, pizza, ice-cream, buffets etc through out the day and then dine at at different restaurant each night, where the food was out of this world.

The cruise went to the Bahamas. The 3 night cruise stopped at Free Port. I got off the ship but got hastled by locals to buy things, that much that I returned to the ship. This was not a problem as I got to watch films, eat more food and relax by the pool. The cruise also stopped off at Castaway Quay, Disney's private island. This was amazing. There was barbeque's where you could eat all day (no charge), snorkel, sun bath, cycle, play beach volleyball etc.

My brother and I took part in the table tennis competition and we won which was great.

The evening entertainment was out of this world. There was a different show every night. They were of extremely high standard it is amazing how they fit all the sets on board.

Disney cruises really are magical and I would definately go again. It was fabulous!

I used to identify with Mulan. I often feel that there's a secret me I'm forced to hide. It is hard to be yourself when people are judging you and it is easy to become someone you are not just to fit in.

But the character that reveals the most about me is STITCH.

I thought I just liked him because he is funny and not the normal kind of Disney character. But there is more to it than that, which at times are hard to admit.

Stitch is a very lonely character who does not know where he fits in. He's lost. He has no family and desperately wants to be part of one. He pushes people away by being destructive and messes up everything around him as he does not understand the feelings of sadness and lonliness he is feeling. I am more like Stitch than I ever care to admit to. The film Lilo & Stitch did help me in many ways. Stitch became a part of Lilo's "Ohana" (family). It shows that family does not have to be conventenal. Family can be your friends.

I realise now that I do have family. My "ohana" consists of my very special friends. They will always be there for me and will never let me down.

Give it a go. Have a think about what your favourite Disney character is really revealing about your character and feelings. It may surprise you!
